Historic Mill Owners home
1874
Located in the heart of North West England, The Birch Hotel has become renowned for its great service and countryside setting.
It was originally built in 1874 as the residence for a wealthy mill owner. As the country home for the owner of a successful mill The Birch would have seen plenty of wealthy guests. It was built not to only be a home but to also show the wealth and opulence of its owner.
Burgeoning Hotel
In 1970, The Birch Hotel opened its doors to the public! With just six bedrooms initially, the guest list was small but the hospitality was renowned. Set inside 3 acres of landscaped English countryside The Birch Hotel has become a great place to have a quiet getaway, whilst still being in easy reach of Manchester city centre.
